Who to contact
Amelya coordinates online child development support. The Amelya team handles privacy questions through our contact form. Select “Privacy or my personal information”. There is currently no separate public privacy email address.
What we collect and why
Session requests: your name, email, phone number and time zone; the child’s name and, if provided, age and a brief description of the support you want; and the selected therapist and time. We use these to review your request, contact you and coordinate sessions.
Service records: appointment status, relevant session notes, payment amount, date, method, status and receipt details. These support scheduling, follow-up and administration. This website does not collect card numbers or bank passwords.
Questions: your name, email, optional phone number, selected topics and message are sent to the team so it can reply. Please do not include medical reports, identity documents or detailed information about a child in this form.
Therapists: applications contain contact details, qualifications, experience, time zone and any optional profile link or note. Staff accounts use a password hash. Public profiles display the professional information entered for publication, not login credentials or private application details.
Technical details: sign-in cookies, your theme preference and technical request information help the site work and prevent abuse. Our hosting and email providers may maintain operational logs. We record the notice version and time when you consent to a booking request or application.
Children and consent
The request form is intended for adults who are a child’s parent or lawful guardian. Provide only the details needed to arrange support. Consent to arranging a session is separate from any consent needed for therapy, recording or other uses.
The online declaration records your statement; it does not itself verify identity, age or guardianship. Contact the team if someone has submitted a child’s information without authority. Amelya must establish the appropriate verification process before relying on verifiable parental consent under applicable law.
Your choices and requests
Use Contact us to request access to your information and sharing details, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or nomination of someone to exercise applicable rights if you die or become unable to act. Use the email connected to your request and describe what you need. Do not send identity documents in the form; the team may arrange a proportionate identity check before releasing or changing records.
Withdrawal may mean we cannot continue arranging a service. It does not undo earlier lawful use. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations. Ask the team for the reason if a request cannot be fully fulfilled.
Storage and retention
Records currently remain in the service database until the team removes them; automatic expiry is not implemented. Emails and provider backups are separate copies. Contact us to request deletion and information about any copies that must remain.
Staff access is restricted by role. No system can promise absolute security. Amelya needs a documented retention schedule, provider arrangements and incident response process alongside the safeguards in this website.
Privacy concerns and Indian law
Raise a concern through the contact form, selecting the privacy topic. If the form reports an error, the message has not been confirmed as delivered. Please retry. Amelya must designate a responsible grievance contact and publish its response period as part of its operational readiness.
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Rules, 2025 have phased commencement. Applicable rights include grievance redressal and, after using the organisation’s grievance process, approaching the Data Protection Board as provided by law. This notice does not waive your rights or certify that every operational compliance requirement is complete.
